Standard Return Policy
We accept returns on most items within 30 days of purchase, provided the item is in new, unused condition in its original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and documentation included.
To be eligible for a return:
- Item must be unused and in original condition
- Original packaging and all accessories must be included
- Return must be initiated within 30 days of delivery
- Original receipt or proof of purchase required
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Custom or special-order items - Items ordered specifically for you
- Installed equipment - Any items that have been installed or mounted
- Electronic items with broken seals - Opened electronics cannot be returned for safety and security
- Boats and motors - Contact us for specific boat return policies
- Clearance or final sale items - As marked at time of purchase
How to Return an Item

Contact Us
Call us at 270-527-1900 or email contact@hitecmarine.net to request a return authorization.

Receive Return Authorization
We'll provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number and return instructions.

Package the Item
Securely package the item in its original packaging with all accessories and documentation. Include your RA number on the outside of the box.

Ship the Return
Ship the item to the address provided. We recommend using a trackable shipping method. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we made an error.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit will be applied to your original method of payment within 5-7 business days.
Restocking Fee
A 15% restocking fee may apply to returns of opened or used items that are accepted at our discretion. Unopened items in original packaging are not subject to restocking fees.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, contact us at contact@hitecmarine.net.
For exchanges of different products, please return the original item and place a new order.
Defective or Damaged Items
If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us immediately at270-527-1900. We will arrange for a replacement or full refund, including return shipping costs.
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item.
Manufacturer Warranties
Most of our products are covered by manufacturer warranties. After the 30-day return window, warranty service should be directed to the manufacturer. We're happy to assist you with warranty claims and can help facilitate the process.

- Garmin marine electronics - 1-2 years
- Lowrance/Simrad products - 1-2 years
- Humminbird products - 1-2 years
- MotorGuide trolling motors - 2 years
- Minn Kota trolling motors - 2 years
